Born in London, UK
I'm a Greek student, currently studying Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh.
I was born in London, hence also holding a British Citizenship, from Greek parents. At 4, we moved to Greece to be closer with my grandparents and I grew up in the south of Athens. At 16, me and my parents moved to Kent and I completed my higher education (A Levels), where I eventually moved to Edinburgh to study Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence.
During my study, I explored multiple things, including being part of multiple student societies, such as HypEd, a student lead project based at the University of Edinburgh with aim to create the first Hyperloop transportation system in the UK, volunteered as a student representative in my 2nd year and being accepted to J.P. Morgan Spring week programme full of activities and work shadowing.
While not studying, I enjoy working on cool ideas I come up with. For instance, I created the most detailed vaccine & Covid-19 tracking website in May 2020, which received more than 30 Million visits which was also picked up by the news. I also found myself with some great people when I participated in a Coding & Innovation type of competition (Hackathon) in summer 2020. Together me and my team won and got recognized by Google.
My strongest passion is converting cool ideas into a reality with the aim to help people make their lives better and easier. I am always looking forward to my next challenge!
